Chelsea Piers Foundation brings “Play for a Purpose” to Fairfield County, CT

The Chelsea Piers Foundation is thrilled to announce the "Play for a Purpose" fundraising campaign. Starting June 1, 2024, the campaign aims to raise $100,000 to enhance the foundation's scholarship program for families with financial need in Fairfield County. The campaign will culminate on Saturday, June 22 and Sunday, June 23 with two days of community programs, youth and adult sports tournaments, and family activities.

 This initiative will help local young people to engage in various sports activities and summer camps, supporting their development both on and off the field.

The campaign features an exciting lineup of events designed to engage the community and raise crucial funds:

• CP Kids “Giving Hall of Fame” to promote the understanding of sharing your love of sports and giving back at an early age.

• Youth Soccer Tournament

• Swim for a Purpose Swim-a-Thon

• Tennis Member + Guest Co-Ed Round Robin

• Play for a Purpose Hockey Game in collaboration with Hedgeye Cares

• Run for a Purpose 5K Challenge with Darien Running Company

• Beginner lessons and open play Pickleball
